Account to Sir Winston Churchill.

Inspiration from legendary frames

The circular and half-eye spectacles C.W. Dixey & Son designed and made for Sir Winston Churchill became as much a personal trademark as his polka-dot tie and cigar.

Our Chartwell collection, named after Sir Winston's country home, pays homage to those legendary frames.

We meticulously studied a number of Sir Winston's circular frames and have created a faithful replica. The key design elements are conserved throughout the collection, which remains true to the house style.

The frames are not branded. A simple two white spot motif is marked on the temple tips: just as Churchill personally requested in September 1944.
